The Stonecahat just happened to visit a tree next to where the adders were. It was probably curious  about me. The toad just walked past my feet. If you stand still for long enough the nature comes to you (and you get cramp).
It was a 20times optical lens and some of the time I was using a screw on 2.2times extender  but that has a tendancy to seperate the colours and is a bit soft on one side.
Foulshaw Moss is a great place. It's owned by Cumbria Wildlife Trust.More information here Foulshaw

It was filmed over 3 afternoons around about the 20th. March last year when there was a mild weather spell. I didn't bother visiting in the mornings as being cooler I didn't think I'd see much. The area itself is a raised lowland peatbog which had been planted with conifers but Cumbria Wildlife Trust are returning it back to how it was originally. Fraser40252.4239351852
