hi folks,

not only my first serpent sightings this year but MY FIRST EVER snake pics!
(i only bought my first camera and computer last year!!! what an anachronism i am )

From a site near Bristol airport well-known to members kevb and paul ford (thanks chaps    )

arrived mid-morning with kev and within a few minutes we saw 2 mating balls of grassie moving about near the hibernaculum;

this is my favourite pic from the excursion;

also saw plenty of adders. heres a couple;

and finally, the worlds most successful species of lizard;

cheers!

ben

Well done Ben - that's another one hooked! You won't ever be able to go through a year now without getting out there wondering if you can get another shot.
