I did four circuits of one of my local adder sites today in reasonable conditions but only found two lizards. It was nearing pick the kids up from school time when the sun finally gave me the half hour unbroken burst I was looking for and four adders and a slowie. Its the first time I ve seen two adults on the same day this year so I was very pleased. The others were only young ones ,one from last year and posibly one from the year previous. The last adder I saw is an old friend and it was my sixth and final circuit I saw her (in fact I had given up really and was walking back) .Just goes to show ,dont give up too early and you cant beat a bit of blazing sunshine.   dave fixx40435.7999537037
