Topic: Mystery Snake in Vietnam!
Hi All, I was just wondering if any of the herp experts of there could id this snake I saw when travelling in Vietnam. I've had a look myself but can't find a match. As you can see it was unfortunately killed by villagers. It was found in the mountainous north of Vietnam, near a place called Sapa. The area is above 2000-2500 above sea level. The area the snake was found was primarily arable fields (rice paddies i think) and areas of dotted scrub on the edge of a village. . Anyway, it was such a beautiful snake i hope someone can Id it!
