Posted: 14 Sep 2007 This lizard isn't native to UK, but I thought someone here might be able to identify it. My brother-in-law lives in Dallas, Texas, USA and this lizard found its way into his house. He's asked several locals and no one seems to know anything about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Posted: 14 Sep 2007 Hi Jason, have you got a larger picture? looks to me like a gecko of some type just going by the pads on its feet and large eyes. But I expect someone more knowledgeable will put me right |

Posted: 14 Sep 2007 Hi Jason To me it looks like a Mediterranean Gecko. Native to the Mediterranean and Middle East, it is now the most conspicuous gecko in North America. Deano Better to be lucky than good looking. |

Posted: 14 Sep 2007 Hemidactylus Turcicus, or in plain old English - Turkish Gecko. They've made their way to the US now Jason, mainly found in Florida :) |
