Posted: 23 Mar 2009 While walking the dogs with my wife on Sunday morning I came across a disgusting sight. There placed on a log was a cleanly decapitated grassy. This was not the work of a predator as nothing was missing. Also, (Even though it makes no difference) the killers obviously knew it was harmless as you could see that it had been placed on the log for beheading, someone scared of adders would not have handled the snake and placed it in such a place to kill it.
