Me and the girls just got back from Wirral and just dropped in on our local grass snake site.We found 4 in 5 minutes and the girls got to touch one,next time I reckon I can persuade them to hold one. Posted: 06 Aug 2009 I actually got so close to a grassy yesterday that I nearly stepped on the bugger - in fact I did step on a branch that then pinned it (gently) to the ground!
