Posted: 13 Aug 2009 just a quicky probably could find it somewhere but this is quicker. whats the general time that adults gcn's leave their ponds. and also whats the general distance they are known to travel up to away from their pond or do they generally keep fairly close. i know i've found some well over 400m from the nearest pond before. |

Posted: 10 May 2010 GCN can also leave the pond temporarily at any time. occasionally, ive almost trodden on fully be-crested males wandering in the garden during wet nights. even in the midst of the breeding season. perhaps theyre out seeking a meal since their prey likes the rain. ben Diversity. |
