Might be interesting to do a thread on morphs...?

This is the darkest morph I've yet seen in the garden...looked totally black from above! Quite unusual compared to the others.

I`ve seen a few females that were almost as red as that previously, they appeared healthy enough.

They're well good looking!   .... But what is a morph? I ain't never seen no red frog out in the wild in the UK, is there lots around or something but are just hiding? Are they escaped foreigners? Baby Sue39659.399375

morph is from the Greek `morphe` meaning `shape` or `form`.

Morph
A phenotypic variant of a species. Not restricted to variations in form and structure, but commonly encompassing variations in coloration as well. (see also polytypic)
