Anyone else getting the odd error when they visit this forum?

I get certain parts highlighted , or Posts over to the right, gaps, ect

Nothing drastic, just the odd error here and there

I've not had it on RAUK, but that sort of thing can happen if the internet connection is sluggish or has interference (as in dodgey telephone line).

The browser sometimes thinks it has the entire web page, and guesses at formatting, having missed some tags.

Normally a reload page will sort it.

I have had problems with the site. Sometimes it just won't load. I just come back another time.

The only formatting issue I've seen on the site is when people post images that are too wide. The forum doesn't resize images. Some forums do then allow the full image to be seen in a pop-up window. It isn't a solution I actually like. So piccies 700 - 800 px width will avoid the problem.

Speed issue is due to a shared server, no budget at the moment to do anything about that, in fact it is lucky the site is still here.

Gemma,

I'm sure we'd all be willing to have a whip-round if you need assistance with the site, funding or otherwise. I would think most people on here are only too glad to have somewhere to forum our specialist stuff.

I get the odd blip as well but like Sue, I just come back later......always assuming there'll be something here later!
