Hi folks,

Haven't been around on here for a long while.. Lots been going on and
still continues to get busy.. Now doing my PhD at DICE with Richard
Griffiths, so exciting times..

Anyway, I have had numerous requests for images for publication and one
of the projects was images without backgrounds so they could easily be
used in articles with text wrapping etc.. So I set about it..

Simply it is a controlled environment with the animals placed on white
card, using my canon 30D, Sigma 150mm Macro and/or Canon 18-55 kit
lens and tripod.

Anyway, just a post to say hi really and to share a couple of images. I
hope life is treating you all well and look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Brett.

Ps. Please remember these are copyright images and are here for your
pleasure please do not use or copy them without permission. It doesn't
take a lot to ask and I usually say yes..

hi brett

wow! i have to say they look amazing! the white background seems to help enhance the detail...no distractions i guess. i especially like the claws on the common lizard.

keep 'em coming

Thanks guys,

Peter: yes it was a picture I took some time ago at Jersey and not Colombia..

Although I do have some darts that I took in the Peruvian Amazon in 2002.. This one just seemed a good colour for an avatar..

Kind regards,
