quite a few reptiles out this lunchtime including a grass snake that let me get within inches of it before it legged it!!!

Nice pics Tim,You really did get close to that grassie,I can see your reflection.
Me and the girls just got back from Wirral and just dropped in on our local grass snake site.We found 4 in 5 minutes and the girls got to touch one,next time I reckon I can persuade them to hold one.

I actually got so close to a grassy yesterday that I nearly stepped on the
bugger - in fact I did step on a branch that then pinned it (gently) to the
ground! One o'clock in the afternoon and twenty seven degrees - I wasn't
even looking

had a very enjoyable hour or so with one of the kids this afternoon. loads of common lizards around, a few adders but no grassies.

Tim that lizard pic is so close it could have taken it itself. Nice adder /butterfly pic.We could start a theme here with other wildlife along side reptiles.Tongue
